A Little About Myself...
Known as a "Jack-of-all-Trades," I am an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, and have prepared tax returns for over 17 years. I have first-hand knowledge as a successful business owner, owning and operating my own business for over 27 years. I have legal expertise, from work performed in litigation, and analysis support, including forensic accounting. A few of my skills include tax preparation, accounting/bookkeeping, financial reports, prime cost reports, job costing, global marketing, inventory, preparing triple net leases, title searches, and budgets.
Because I work in the Cloud, I am able to connect with my clients no matter where I am. Financial statements can be produced at a moments notice, at any time, from anywhere, and sent off in an email to my clients.
My education includes a B.S. in Management Science, with a concentration in Human Resource. To stay up to date with current bookkeeping/accounting methods, I attend virtual and in-person conferences as often as I can. I also take many tax courses throughout the year. Although it is a requirement to retain my Enrolled Agent status, I enjoy learning as much as I can regarding new tax laws and accounting procedures. I have high ethical standards which are essential when working with tax returns, or any other confidential business and legal matters. I no longer take new tax clients as my focus has shifted to making sure my clients accounts/books are compliant with tax laws and regulations.
I am a go-getter, constantly learning and exploring new methods, technology, and programs that will improve my skills. While my work requires many hours sitting behind a computer, I love working with my clients, discovering what they need and any new ideas we could explore together.
